Fish Out of Water

Being a Christian can feel like being a fish out of water.

You’re trying to breathe in a habitat that is not meant for you to survive.

The whole world is yelling and blaming you for everything and anything because they are blinded.

They don’t recognize the Holy Spirit because they are not looking for him.

We, who are filled with the spirit, see all the destruction.

Yet we are not alone.

There are many people trying to breathe in a world full of death, hate, and PRIDE.

People can’t see their own destruction.

How hard it is, to not want to yell out from the top of your lungs about these things are going on today.

The evil, the hate, the love for things that are bad, and the hate for things that are good.

Every job is affected, every career is influenced.

The world pushes their ideas on everyone and everything and gets upset whenever a Christian says anything because they know it is against what they believe.

Christian, don’t be shy, don’t get quiet. Get Louder.

God has not given us a a spirit of fear.

He has given us LOVE, POWER, and a SOUND MIND.

Wake up to God’s word. Let it play everyday and read it continuously, lest you be deceived and walk into the trap of the enemy.

Out of water , breathing for air.

You only have so much time left.

Plate Full

It baffles me how i can have so much that i am doing and still think it is not enough.

is it overachieving or just not fulfilling?

not being aware that my plate is full

way more than full.

it is overflowing with God’s grace , goodness, kindness and mercy

yet i am searching for more.

why is this?

why is it that our hearts can have everything and feel like we have nothing?

how can a woman look at her closet full of clothes and still go on a shopping spree and say she has nothing to wear?

oh i get it.

we want to control.

we want to control every aspect of every outcome.

we want everything at our finger tips, at our beck and call.

has society made us this way?

always throwing something new in our faces and telling us we have to have it.

is anyone content?

is anyone ok with just living with what they have or do they think they need more?

why would a man cheat when he has a beautiful wife and three kids at home?

losing everything to gain what we don’t need is a high price to pay.

we are so full we can’t tell ourselves when to stop even though we know we are about to explode.

reality has to slap us in the face.

we wake up and realize we’ve gone to far and have to begin again.

begin again.

this time with Jesus.

his cup runnneth over and you are full of peace and grace.

Let him be the one who keeps you full.

if you are gonna overflow with anything, let it be God’s grace.
