You can’t breathe. Your heart is heavy. You feel like your about to explode.
What is that? That’s life.
It’s all the heartache and difficult times all in one.
It’s all the many changes we go through, people who’ve hurt us, friends we’ve lost, places we’ve moved on from.
Take all that and try to survive… without Jesus.
Remember? You have a savior.
He calls you friend. He calls you his.
He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Yet, we forget about him all the time.
We live our life with adding him in only a little bit.
What if he wants to be it. He wants to be our life.
He’s who we should think about right when we wake up and who we should think about right before we go to sleep.
He is the prince of peace, the comforter, the mighty counselor.
We go to everything and everyone else before we go to him.
How do we forget Jesus so quickly?
How can we forget the most important and best relationship we will ever have in this earth?
Maybe because we don’t see the value in the relationship.
Jesus is able to do more for us than we can imagine. He is always on time.
He takes the time to show us what we need to know, who we really are, and who he is to us.
Things don’t always happen in our own time or in our own way.
We have to surrender, humble ourselves and trust in his ways.
His love is everlasting, eternal, and not safe.
When you follow Jesus, you step in battle with the enemy of this world and his people.
But you are with the king of kings and lord of lords who is greater than anything in this world.
Believe in the promises he has in store.
More and more good you shall see, if you trust, pray, and persevere through all things.
The next time you feel like giving up, the next time you feel alone, the next time you feel like there’s no hope,
Remember Jesus.
Draw near to him and he’ll draw near to you.
No other relationship will ever be enough to satisfy your soul.
If we hunger and thirst for him, we shall always be filled.
We shall never be thirsty, lonely, or afraid.
He is with you to the end of the age.
