Whenever an abuser thinks they are losing control over you, they will try to control the narrative told about you. They fear you not praising and worshipping them. They fear not having you under their spell. Once you stand up for yourself, they make you seem to be the problem. They make you out to be the person that has the problem. When they yell, harass, and treat you bad, then blame you for their behavior, fight back. Don’t let them think they can break you or make you fear them. You have Christ living and dwelling within in you. He who is within you is greater than he who is in the world. All they did was give you the strength to move forward stronger, better, and wiser. There are endless possibilities for your growth and to represent God’s glory. Never give up. Never quit. Fight back.
