It’s easy to easy to give up on something you know God has said you’ll have one day but you don’t have it yet. Be inspired by something. Do not let your heart give up. You will see God’s promises prove true. Your life could change in an instant.

Sometimes life can be very difficult as it continues to give us difficulties. People can be insensitive and ruin our day, we get bored with the mundane and the routine, we can lose meaning in our daily activities. Thank God his mercies are new everyday. We need constant renewal of our minds and to challenge ourselves not to stay the same. Do something different, read a new book, watch a new movie, find a new song to sing, dance, laugh, do something to set your heart ablaze. Never let your soul fall asleep. Never let your soul feel like it is dead. Awaken it. Awaken your soul to the possibilities of this life.

God is not done yet, so that’s why you are still breathing. As much as you would like to go home to him and be free from all the worries of the world, you are still here to complete your purpose.

Yes you’ve been hurt but that is not a reason to not believe in love again or that you could be loved. Run back to the one who loves you more than you could ever imagine. Run back to Jesus today. You will not be the same.

What if God has a plan to save us from heartache? All the movies, music and TV we watch make us wish our lives were different. When you wait until God brings you the right one, you are choosing to not take matters into your own hands. Doing it our way usually ends in a mess. When you follow Jesus, you will never walk in darkness. His ways are higher, so we can never know why he puts us through what we go through but we can always know he is on our side. So why not wait until God brings you the right person to partner with for a purpose. He brought Eve to Adam when he knew it was time for him to have a partner. God knows when it is time. Until then, live your life to the fullest and get closer to your creator. Be happy and joyful now. Develop the habit of getting up each morning and praying. Make God the center of your whole life since he is the one who gave you life. Being in his presence is the fullness of joy. When you least expect it, God will bring that person you’ve dreamed of in your life. Let him choose. Dating so many different people can lead to pieces of your heart scattered all over the place. Why not have a complete and whole heart to give to the one God intends to unite you with. Is dating really necessary?

All my girls, listen up. Have you ever thought about how hard it is to be you? As females we have to think about checking our surroundings if we’re ever out alone. We have to continuously tell that older man to leave you alone and stop flirting with you. We have to be cautious to avoid getting kidnapped, raped, drugged or murdered just because we are girls. Girls then become women and women have to work and sustain themselves. Then you have to deal with judgements at work if you’re assertive or the annoying male coworker constantly trying to ask you out. Oh and if you ever decided you want to live on your own then you’ll have to take in consideration all the dangers that come with that as a woman. There’s so much to think about and all I have said is in the context of being single. You may be dealing with a jealous or an abusive boyfriend but don’t want to leave him because you like how your pictures look on Instagram. Or you are married and have to take care of your whole household and your kids. There is so much that comes with being a girl.

On top of all that, there may be things that you want to do but can’t because you are a girl, and it is too dangerous. We seem to always need protection. Sometimes I get really ambitious and want to do many things but then I come back to reality that I can never do it alone and the main reason is because I am a girl. Only God can give me the peace, grace, and fearlessness I need to do all that he has called me to do. Yes, there are things I am waiting on and things I want to see fulfilled in my life but it is all in God’s timing. No one has an easy life. Yes, being a girl is tough but being a girl doesn’t mean you’re not enough.

Never lose who you truly are. You may walk through many fires and face much pain, but don’t forget who you are. Don’t let other people’s words, or actions define who you are. Sure they may say things about you, sure they may do things to you, but you.. don’t ever lose you. You are not who other people say you are, you are who God says you are. People only get to see the part of you that you allow them to see. No one sees all of you except for God. Even if someone looks into to your life, future or current situation without you knowing it, they will never fully grasp or understand who you truly are. None of us will ever know the thoughts or the feelings that another person goes through. We can never comprehend the human mind. All you can do is be the best version of yourself at all times and do not put on a show for others to make them see the real you because they will never know. Yes, their words and actions may have caused you harm in the moment or maybe even for years but you were never the problem , they were. No decent person on this earth would purposely cause someone pain. Don’t be that person. Don’t be the person who holds themselves back from enjoying life to please others. You are free today, in this moment be alive. God has set you free. Be you. Be kind. Be happy. Be free. Always be you.
